On Friday, September 15, Customs called and said that the clutch releases would be shipped out Express Mail that very day. The parts were finally located due to a claim filed by Sy-Tech through the Japanese Postal Service. Until now Customs has claimed they turned the parts over to the US Postal Service and the matter was out of their hands. It is unclear where the box was for the past 6 weeks, but the main thing is that it has arrived.
We are currently packaging and preparing orders. We have contacted all customers who have put their names on the waitlist. If we did not contact you, please email us at P.A.FACTORY. For customers paying via PayPal, money requests will be sent starting this Friday evening.
Orders will be shipped begining Monday, September 25th.
Sy-Tech and Project H2 would like to thank all of our customers who have been so patient and supportive.
Arigato gozaimashita!
1 more H series bulletin and 4 more General bulletins. We changed the page design and now you can refer to the original bulletin images on the left navigation area of page.
The Clutch Releases were sent express mail from Japan on July 20th. They passed through formal entry at customs on August 1st. Somewhere between customs and the post office they went astray. Customs and the post office have no records of the shipment after it cleared customs. They are looking for it, but have not given us an answer as to who is responsible and how to file a claim. We are still hoping that it got put on a boat and will show up somewhere soon. We will let you know as soon as we hear any news.
Sy-Tech Clutch Releases are awaiting customs clearance in Honolulu. Once cleared they will be shipped to Maui, inspected, packed and finally be ready for delivery. Things in Hawaii tend to move slowly, but we hope to have the parts here soon. Thank you for your patience. We will let you know as soon as they arrive!
Project H2 has been receiving large quantities of spam particularly in the last three weeks. As a safety precaution, the server held incoming e-mail when an unusually large amount of mail was received. We believe we have finally gained access to all remaining e-mail. If you have e-mailed us but have not received a response, please resend your message. Chances are, it was purged. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Our last lot was scheduled to be completed several months ago. Unfortunately, the order is still in production. Sy-Tech is a small company that does quality work, however, due to its size, production and scheduling can be very problematic. We would like you to know that the lot has not been canceled, but is delayed. Project H2 is not taking orders for clutch releases until the product arrives, at which time we will notify everyone via e-mail. We apologize for the long delay and thank you for your patience.
Projects and Proposals for 2006-2007

Project H2 will be producing 20 SPR Transmission Kits for the H2, and 10 H2R replica Transmissions (for the H2R only). We apologize to all H1 owners, but we are unable to continue the H1 Kits. Specific production dates are currently in discussion. We hope to have them in sometime in the Fall 2006.
| Product name | Available | Note |
|---|---|---|
| H2 SPR Transmission Kit | 20 | for All H2 models |
| H2R Replica Transmission Kit | 10 | for H2R |
| H1 Transmission Kit | 2 | for All H1 Series |
We have also decided to produce an H2 and H1 Transmission Needle Bearing Holder (Kawasaki genuine parts number: 92028-073). Producing this has been an issue for a very long time. It's taken years of talking to the "right people," but it looks like we are finally going to get there!
We are currently working on a proposal to produce an H2 Billet Understem for a stock fork.
Shifter Fork (for the H2, H1, A1 and A7) plans have been approved but we are now looking at casting costs, production schedules and other touchy things. We know that there are cheaper, faster production alternatives outside of Japan, however our mission is to provide quality and we will not produce parts that we cannot stand behind. Due to the nature of the projects, communication is vital, so for now we are limiting ourselves to Japanese manufacturers.
We have found that due to a production mishap, the Short Throttle Cable for VM Carburetors are 3mm shorter than the design specs. The cables work fine with stock H2 carburetors, but not with after market VM carbs. If you have purchased a VM cable and are using after market VM carbs, please contact us as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience that we have caused our customers.
(Currently Project H2 does not have plans to produce another lot of Short Throttle Cables for after market VM Carburetors.)
Update: The Short Clutch Cable was originally designed specifically for the H2. However, after testing we have found that it achieves the same performance levels on the H1 500 series, and will be listed in our product line up as the H Series Short Clutch Cable. Requirements are the same for the H1 500 as the H2. They are made for low handle bars with a maximum handle bar height of 110 mm. For handle bars that greatly exceed the maximum height, please use the standard clutch cable.
We have received numerous inquiries from owners of modified motorcycles that use front fork assemblies and steering parts from other bikes, wondering if the short cable will work on their machines. Since each situation is unique, we are unable to determine if the cable will work on machines other than stock bikes. We ask that you please refrain from sending such inquiries, as we are unable to assist you.

Project H2 has had severe trouble with its computers and mail server over the past month. We are finally able to retrieve e-mail that was downloaded from the server before our main computer crashed in early March. We have recently discovered that a certain number of e-mails have not been received due to server issues. If you have not had a timely reply from us, please e-mail us again. Chances are that we were not able to retrieve it or never received it. We will do our best to service you promptly.
In March Project H2 decided to produce one more lot of Sy-Tech Clutch Releases which were to be ready for shipping sometime in April. Unfortunately, due to unforseen difficulty in acquiring 7075 Aluminum which is necessary for the release body, production has been delayed significantly. Sy-Tech is desperately trying to honor the delivery of the Releases in April, however, they are still unsure of the completion date. For those of you who have ordered a Sy-Tech Clutch Release, we apologize for the delay and ask for your understanding and patience. If you have any questions, please contact Project H2.
Short Clutch Cables are in! We are currently contacting customers and filling all back orders. If you were on a waiting list and have not heard from us, please contact us again.
