PROJECT H2 Language setting for Firefox

Garbage Characters

For Firefox Customers

PROJECT H2 web site uses XHTML that is set to UTF-8 for character code. In most browsers, the problem of Garbage Characters doesn't occur. However, if the characters are garbled on your Firefox browser, please follow the following procedure.

Please add Japanese to your Firefox preference. For Mac Users: Menu to Firefox to Preference. For Windows Users: Menu to Tools to Option.

1. Click the Content tab. Then click the Chose button from the bottom of the window.

2. Show the language list from Select a Language to add a menu and select Japanes [ja] from the list.


3. Add Japanese [ja] to Language in Order of Preference by clicking the Add button. Then finish the setup by clicking the OK button.

4. Setup the character auto detect option.
Show the Character Encoding menu from View.

5. Select auto-detect from menu.

6. The auto-detect default is OFF. Chose Japanese from the list.

Language setup is done.
